Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) is an adult education program for students who have not been fully initiated into the Catholic Church.  Each fall, a small group of students begin meeting weekly to discuss Catholic teachings, scripture, and to pray together.  Each student has a sponsor who is a fully initiated practicing Catholic in good standing who supports him or her through the process.  Upon completion of RCIA, new members are welcomed into the Church at Easter.
